The four pages factsheet gives concise information what needs to be considered in companies that may use nanomaterials. Summarising, the factsheet recommends:

  • Ask your supplier for information about the content of nanomaterials in the substances and materials you are supplied with the business
  • Information from safety data sheets and technical data sheets could enhance your preventive work with nanomaterials
  • Ensure that you have the necessary knowledge and use it when preparing the statutory chemical APV
  • Ask for the materials and delivery shapes that give the least risk of exposure - eg low dust nanomaterials.
